The Future The Network: TUFH seeks to establish partnerships with like-minded organisations. Recent examples are the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), Global Health Through Education, Training and Service (GHETS) and Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). Deliberations have started with The Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education (CAIPE) and Global Health Education Consortium (GHEC). To translate policy into action, opportunities are used to submit project proposals with eligible member institutions, e.g. in the framework of the European Union's EDULINK-ACP programme and to trigger actions together with partner organisations, like the "15by2015"-campaign with WONCA, GHETS and European Forum for Primary Care (EFPC), asking donor organisations to invest - by 2015 - 15% of their resources for vertical disease-oriented projects (targeting AIDS, Malaria, TB, ..) in the strengthening of local primary health care in developing countries.
