Target population Foreign-trained pharmacists (those pharmacists from outside Canada or the United States) seeking licensure in Ontario as pharmacists. These individuals come to Canada with a broad background and diverse skills, and often face regulatory and practice-based hurdles in trying to negotiate the complex system of licensure. By providing a 16-week bridging education program, mentorship supports, and a competency-based prior learning assessment, we are able to assist them in meeting standards of practice and achieving their goal of licensure and professional work.
